Trinity Episcopal Church in Shepherdstown is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its live nativity, founded by local resident George Alwin in 2004. Initially inspired by the church's location during a Christmas parade, the event has grown in popularity and quality over the years, featuring improved costumes and productions through the help of local artisans. As community members come together to celebrate this cherished holiday tradition, new pastor Rev. Gethin Wied acknowledges the significance it holds within the community, highlighting its role in keeping the spirit of Christmas alive.
