Tall Cedars donate bears to give comfort to local children

In a recent event reported by The Journal, members of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Shenandoah Forest No. 150 gathered to donate stuffed bears to the pediatric unit at Berkeley Medical Center, aiming to comfort children in distressing times. This fraternal Masonic organization has supported various causes since 1951, with their bear donation initiative having commenced three years ago. Wayne Welty, the Grand Tall Cedar, emphasized the importance of providing a source of comfort for children during emergencies, and Jay Sine from WVU Medicine highlighted the positive impact the bears have in bringing joy to hospitalized kids.
