The Jefferson County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau celebrated the opening of its third welcome center at the historic Market House in Shepherdstown, a former library building. A ribbon-cutting ceremony featured remarks from local leaders, including former Mayor Jim Auxer and current Mayor James Gatz, who emphasized the center's importance in enhancing the town's charm. The newly remodeled space is designed to promote local attractions and foster community pride, supported by contributions from the Asam family and local organizations.
