Shepherd University political science major selected as Herndon Fellow

The Journal reports that Josiah Wink, a junior political science major at Shepherd University from Inwood, West Virginia, has been awarded the prestigious Judith A. Herndon Fellowship. He is one of only ten West Virginia students selected for this role, which allows him to assist legislators during the state's 60-day legislative session. Wink expressed gratitude for the honor and emphasized the valuable skills he anticipates gaining from the experience. The fellowship is awarded to undergraduate students in West Virginia who demonstrate academic excellence and complete a competitive application process.
