Shepherd University, as reported by The Journal, has opened an art exhibit dedicated to the works of Carl Frederick Gaertner, organized by his granddaughter, Erin Gaertner. The exhibit features various mediums, including gouache paintings and sketches, and Erin plans a retrospective art show at Carnegie Hall in January, marking the first comprehensive display of Gaertner's works in over a decade.
