Shepherd University will host a benefit concert on November 15 to support victims of Hurricane Helene, reported by Herald-Mail Media. The event, titled 'Rams Act for Appalachia: An Appalachian Relief Concert and Drive,' aims to gather donations for communities in West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, and parts of North Carolina. Organized by various departments within the university, the concert will feature performances by faculty, students, and local artists, emphasizing community spirit and resilience. Donations will be collected at the door and will be distributed by WV VOAD and the Appalachian Helene Response Fund.
