In Charles Town, Jefferson County Schools is continuing its beloved Sensory Santa tradition, providing a safe and comforting space for special needs families to meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch. Hosted at the Spotlight on Main, this year's event has welcomed 33 families over five days, supported by dedicated volunteers from the community, including students and educators. Parents like Shelly Dowell praised the initiative, highlighting the importance of creating joyful experiences in a sensory-friendly environment for children, making special holiday memories possible.
