Ranson Celebrates the Opening of Its New Elementary School
On December 16, Ranson Elementary School was officially dedicated with attendees including local students, teachers, and officials. This new facility, located at 245 Ranson Campus Blvd, offers state-of-the-art amenities such as 31 classrooms, science labs, and a geothermal climate control system. Set to welcome approximately 256 students on January 6, 2024, the school has a total capacity for 450 students. The construction cost was estimated at $34 million, with land purchased in 2017 to support both this elementary school and future educational developments in the area, highlighting a significant advancement in local educational infrastructure, as reported by The Spirit of Jefferson.
