Community Voices Heard: Efforts to Address Riverside Issues in Jefferson County

In an effort to address concerns about trash, illegal parking, and traffic congestion in the public and private riverside areas of Millville and Bloomery roads, over 400 residents participated in an online survey organized by the Jefferson County Commission. The findings were discussed at the first meeting of a newly established work group on September 24. Debbie Lowe from the sheriff’s department and Jennifer Myers from the parks and recreation department led the initiative, aiming to collaborate with government and business stakeholders to find viable solutions to these issues.
