The Independent Observer reports that a public workshop for the Middleway Water Bottling Project in Jefferson County has been postponed to February 11 after a Circuit Court ruling granted a preliminary injunction in response to a complaint filed by the Jefferson County Foundation and local landowner William Hewitt. The court emphasized the violation of due process rights concerning the public's ability to review the project, as the originally scheduled meeting on December 17 did not allow for the required 45-day review period. The judge's ruling also mandated the applicant to notify relevant agencies regarding the revised concept plan.
