At Harpers Ferry Middle School, students engaged in a unique educational project using Christmas passports to explore various global holidays such as Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Hanukkah. Assistant Principal Erin Maranda spearheaded the initiative as a response to the school’s expanding multicultural community, encouraging students to appreciate their differences through interactive activities and discussions. This initiative not only fostered inclusivity but also sparked excitement among students, highlighting the importance of cultural education in the vibrant communities of Harpers Ferry and its neighboring areas.
