Friendsgiving Intergenerational Trivia helps bring Baby Boomers, Gen X and Gen Z together

The Journal reports on the Friendsgiving Intergenerational Trivia event held at Shepherd University's Student Center, aimed at fostering connections between students from Generation Z and community members from Generation X and Baby Boomers. This annual event, initiated after the university's recognition as the first West Virginia member of the Age-Friendly University Global Network, successfully brought together 35 participants who engaged in collaborative trivia and shared a light Friendsgiving dinner. Organizers and participants highlighted the value of intergenerational relationships and the opportunity to share perspectives, emphasizing the importance of empathy and inclusivity in the community.
