Fatal Fire in Jefferson County Leaves One Dead and Two Injured
A tragic fire in Middleway, Jefferson County, resulted in one confirmed fatality and left two others injured, according to the West Virginia Fire Marshal’s Office and Chief Michael Mood from the Middleway Fire Department. Crews were dispatched around 3:52 a.m. to a residence on Sulphur Springs Road, where fire spread rapidly, prompting traffic diversions.
