In Charles Town, the Planning Commission's hearing on the Mountain Pure Water Bottling Facility has been postponed from December 17 to February 11, following Judge David Hammer's ruling that requires a 45-day public review period. The Jefferson County Foundation initiated a court case, asserting that the public deserved adequate time to provide feedback on the revised application, which includes plans for a substantial bottling facility at the former 3M site. The previous hearing in November deemed the application incomplete, prompting the applicant to submit more detailed plans for community evaluation.
