Charles Town breaks ground for the new Augustine Trail

After more than a decade of planning and community interest, the trail project, which is expected to span three phases, was celebrated by city officials, including Project Lead Alissa Meeks, who highlighted its potential to promote economic development and provide a safer environment for walking and biking. U.S. Senators Joe Manchin and Shelley Moore Capito were acknowledged for their financial support of the initiative.
